#Repost @gymalpha (@get_repost) ・・・ AB WERKOUT 😎 This one can be done at home OR the gym ya just gotta go grab yourself a Swiss ball 🏡😋 Using a swiss ball is one of my FAVE ways to train my abs just cos your stability technique has got to be so real (mine isn't lol) But often I struggle to really feel it when I do body weight abs exercise and on those days the ball comes out 🙃🙂 1️⃣stir the pot 2️⃣arm to feet ball pass 3️⃣dead bug 4️⃣oblique twist and overhead lift 30 secs per exercise, 3 sets. Lol my tummy was dead for literally a week after this. It's a very rare workout to be done 😭🙂 If u do it tell me so we can share pain 👭. . . 🆘 GOOD FATS are very important (look at the picture). It’s very important to eat enough fats and now I’m gonna tell you how much you need. You need at least 1-1.5g fats per kg bodyweight!! to benefit from fats. Where can you find those fats ? For example : eggs, avocado, nuts, peanutbutter, all kind of fish like Salomon, tuna or good oils you should use for your cooking like olive oil or coconut oil ! One of those things that really annoys me is when people play the genetics card... . Classifying someone by how they currently look is a bit silly when you think about it. . You meet someone who is clearly overweight, weighs approx 100kg we call them an endomorph. . You meet that same person after 5 years of training, lifestyle changes and dieting and they weigh 70kg and now you call them an ectomorph. . Did they change their body type or did they change their daily habits for a significant period of time 🤔 . Our bodies are a result of what we consistently do on a daily basis. If you’ve always been overweight since a kid then look back at what you’ve historically always done. Did you spend your childhood in McDonalds or ‘forgetting’ your PE kit and sitting behind an Xbox or were you made to eat healthy, play outside on bikes and be active with your friends? . If you look at the pictures in this post and think you would be classified as one of these body types I would hazard a good guess that you also tick at least 2 of the points next to that body type or at least have done for a significant period of your life. . Nutrition Advent Calendar - Day 18⠀ ⠀ Vitamin D - The Sunshine Vitamin⠀ ⠀ If you're unaware of the important roles that vitamin D plays in the body, hopefully this will give you an insight into how and why you should avoid vitamin D deficiency. ⠀ ⠀ ☀️ Vitamin D is a pro-hormone that is primarily obtained from direct sunlight exposure to the skin (vitamin D3). It can also be obtained through certain foods (oily fish, mushrooms, fortified dairy & cereals) but this alone cannot satisfy the body's requirements (vitamin D2). ⠀ ⠀ ☁️ During winter months we are deprived of sunshine, meaning people are likely to be deficient in vitamin D. Therefore the best way to maintain vitamin D levels is through supplementation. A safe and effective dosage is 1,000-4,000IU per day (upper limit for athletes and individuals with severe deficiency). ⠀ ⠀ I recommend that you get your vitamin D levels checked first before taking a supplement to determine what dosage is best for you.
