@yogabyandrea - One of my favorite things about yoga? The fact that each pose can stretch or target a different set of muscle groups with variations of each posture…for today’s #yogatiptuesdays the lovely triangle pose! Such a nice side body stretch as well as core workout when held 😅
Two things I’ve been focusing on with this pose lately: 1) making sure to press my hips toward my back leg before leaning forward allowing for more of a stretch in the back hip and front hamstring while 2) instead of allowing the side body to crunch trying to lift out of the core and upper arm toward the sky maintaining a floating lower hand.

At first I thought to do some fancy, complicated bind, but then I asked myself why.... I have not good shoulder mobility, neither back flexibility.... Why to struggle for something my body isn't comfortable doing just for a photo... So I did what makes me feel good and is actually helping me gain the shoulder mobility that I need. #cowfacepose#loveyourbody
