7th April, 2017 - One of the best days of my life!
The day started with us making a third attempt to leave for Kaza from Tabo. We had trekked a few kilometers in this valley a day before but had to return because of snowfall and decided to trek further the next day,
when the walk to Tabo bridge started on 7th, we all wanted to spot a snow leopard, even though we knew it was nearly impossible...but then we reached at the end of the valley, no snow leopard was spotted but a cold waterfall was!
This one minute video only shows the trek to the waterfall and basically the most adventurous part of the day as I can't put everything in a video limited to one minute, but I'm so glad I got to experience this that day and even capture these amazing moments which I'll never ever forget!

"All I really want to do is spend my life traveling the world, sitting on rocks looking at views that take my breath away, drinking tea on different balconies, trekking in the mountains and lying beneath blankets of stars."
Didn't have much time to click this but quite happy with the result :P (thanks to the random uncle 😂)
Also, I didn't use any layout or anything, all of these reflections are RAW
P.S : see the picture upside down to see the reflection :P
"It's never too late to want to see what life could offer, to look forward each day, to live, and to make the best out of your life.
It's never too late to listen to your passion, to find out where it wants you to be, to let it consume you, and to let it make you happy.
It's never too late to do and try new things and to drop what's been holding you down."
Yesterday when it started raining, I took my camera with me to find such water puddles where I can take reflections and after taking a couple of pictures, I went to my favorite park in Delhi which is usually very crowded, but as it was raining, there was hardly anyone!
Out of my three visits to Kinnaur, two have been to Kalpa and one to the Baspa valley (Chitkul/Sangla) yet I explored the Baspa valley more than Kalpa.
I can't wait to be back in Sangla, as I am leaving for a 8 Day trek to cross Rupin Pass, a crossover trek which starts in Dehradun (Uttarakhand) and ends in Chitkul/ Sangla (Himachal) is one of the most beautiful treks in India and the toughest compared to my previous ones!
But for some reason I'm more excited about being in Kinnaur again than the trek itself.
"Traveling messes you up, but in all good ways. It leaves you always craving more, an addiction that can never quite be met. Every place every trip is a new adventure pulling you deeper into the love of it. Your heart begins to hurt when you're standing still, and your mind begins to itch over the idea of new places you haven't been.
Fill your life with adventure and traveling and you'll have a fulfilled one in the end"
Seven months ago when I was in this same village, I had taken a similar photo. The only difference in the pictures was that the November one had no snow and clean roads whereas this one had totally white mountains with snow on roads, but in the same place, I was in totally different situations both the times.
In November when I came here, I didn't really " explore " the place, I was just in a car most of the times listening to songs and just staring at these mountains outside my window, but this time I walked for kilometers on these roads, running to take cover from shooting stones, see the valley open with every step towards Sichling and having the best time of my life exploring the Spiti valley!
I really wanted to take photos of the valley and Sichling, but I had no battery, so the only photo I have of this village.
When I say I want to travel, I don't mean I want to stay at resorts and go on tours with tour guides or buy Key chains from Souvenir shops. I don't want to be a tourist. When I say I want to travel, I mean I want to explore a different place and become a part of it. I want to discover trails in Himachal, sit on the banks of Sutlej and collect rocks. I want to trek to the end of a valley and take a bath in the waterfall.
I want to take pictures of things and places and people I meet. I want to look at a map and remember how I was transformed by the places I've been, the things I've seen and the people I've met.
I want to come home and realize that I've not come home whole but have left a piece of my heart in each place I've been.
This, I think, is what is at the heart of adventure and this is why I plan on making my life one.
