On may 27th, is world children's day and as a not for profit medical outreach, we will be spending d day with our beautiful kids in civilian barracks. We will deworm over 500 kids. There will be lots of gifts and freebies for d kids. We want you to kindly come out and support us. We are doing this for d love of the children. Children are d future of the world, we need to take care of our future, and set the cause in motion.
We want a wormfree and healthy society and we will do our very best to achieve it.
We are all about making a difference in our society, however small and what better day to host the children, than a day specially set aside to honour them and to tell them they matter to us all. We have to do this collectively, as we know a tree does not make a forest.

Who missed me? I didn't go AWOL by the way, I and a couple of Medics are currently in Ogori, Kogi state rendering our humanitarian services to its people. The seven day exercise was flagged off today with a Health Walk by Members of the Board of trustees and the medical team.
OGPI is a Registered Community based Non Governmental Organization founded 4years ago by a group of concerned Ogorians who felt the need to bring development to their community via Health outreaches, Youth empowerment, agricultural and educational development, etc.
Every year, OGPI carries out a 5 day Medical Outreach to commemorate the Ovia Osese Festival. This philanthropic exercise has serviced over 10,000 beneficiaries in the last four years. This year's outreach seeks to address Depression, Malaria, Hepatitis and Helminthic Infections as well as general medical consultations.
Our host, @petraonyegbule a Member of the Board of Trustees and Secretary of Ogori Grand Progressives Initiative (OGPI) has been very hospitable, i must say. Thank you for the scintillating welcome and hospitality. We are indeed soaking up the ambience and serenity of the beautiful community of Ogori.
I don't miss Medical school. Doctors and their "crab in the bucket" behavior. I remember one saying by one of my lecturers: This exam is to prove to us why you shouldn't fail ☺️😕😕 .
Wawu! What could be the cause of such Massive Failure? The School or the Students.
Reliable source say out of 366 students, 111passed (10 Dentistry, 101 medical students), while 35 (5 Dentistry and 30 Medical students) are to resit. The rest are to leave Medical school. 220 students disposed of, just like that. Why admit more than you can graduate?
Very painful. Congratulations to the Successful ones, and for those resitting, remember the journey hasn't ended, but you have one more chance, be grateful and utilize the opportunity.
@Regrann from @nigeriacampusconnect - Reports reaching us from our media team in University of Nigeria says that the campus is already tensed and all is currently not well.
Students are seen crying uncontrollably while some are being monitored incase of possible suicidal attempts.
The question is "Why would a University that prides itself as top 5, admit 100% of students, enforce all the necessary levies and fees, provide the most unfavourable conditions for students to study only to tell 90% of them to take a bow and walk?
Can 90% of these students be dull?
Could it be the lecturers weren't professional enough?
Could it be that the faculty wasn't empathetic to the plight of these students by reducing their timetable from 8 months to 6 months❓
We call for a thorough review and investigation into this embarrassing situation as it is unacceptable.
Congratulations to the lecturers you taught your students well.
Congratulations to the Dean, you lead well
Congratulations to the VC you just set a NEW RECORD!!!.
It will be a collective shame on the school administration if this situation isn't properly investigated. How can the UNN motto be "To Restore The Dignity of Man" when in actual sense they leave you with no dignity. Via @deekachy_md #campusconnect#nigeriacampusconnect#celebratingstudentssuccess

At least 17 students and staff of schools have been involved in school related abductions in the past 1 year. Ransom costs have run into millions of Naira and these abducted persons have to deal with trauma from the abduction period. There has also been an increase in illness and death of children in school.
Are you worried about the safety of your children and students? I am too. Security trends show kidnapping for ransom might increase due to the current dreary economic situations.
This is the reason I'd like to contribute towards alleviating this situation. Join stakeholders at the School Safety Summit as we discuss loopholes in the School Safety System and showcase solutions that could reverse this trend.
Let me help you make your children safety and security conscious and their schools "Safe Nigerian Schools". The event is absolutely FREE but you would need to register here

Don’t you know that the better you become, the more you are in demand? Don’t you understand that the longer it takes for you to emerge, the more quality is being embedded within you? My darling, it takes 6 months to build a Rolls-Royce and only 13 hours to build a Toyota. Which would you rather have and which requires more work to acquire?
I don’t know about you dear, but I desire to be with the man who enjoys the finer things in life, and I am no 13-hour build.
The currency I accept is in tenacity, confidence, chivalry, wit, and perseverance. If you want me, prove it. Speak it, show it. Don’t play any games because darling my heart isn’t a casino
You’re a gem, sweets. Own it. Don’t rush into anything for the sake of having someone when you’ve worked so hard to become “The one” for you.
Remember that you’re not just looking for a mate for “just now” - You’re not just waiting for someone to hold your hand as you walk down the street, or in this era, hold your hand for a photo on instagram
You’re waiting for a partner in life.
A man who’s no stranger to investment and delayed gratification.
You’re waiting for the father of your future child.
The son in law to your parents.
The brother in law to your siblings.
The uncle to your nieces and nephews.
Do you understand how deep this relationship goes?
Why then do we allow our standards to slip away when we feel that others are getting what we think we want.
Understand that as you are becoming the best version of you, your mate-to-be is becoming the best version of themselves.

So my favorite spot in #lokoja#Kogi did me an appreciation post. 💋I am blushing, while my purse is weeping. 😂 .
Anyways, let me tell you something about "social wellbeing". Good health is not merely the absence of disease or infirmity, but a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing. .
People who know me offline know that i do not joke with me mental and social wellbeing at all! A sound mental health guarantees an equally sound physical health and i know this. So it is very important that i find ways to relax and clear my head after a mentally and physically draining day at work. .
For me, its music, food and drinks. Yea, cool music, small chops and spicy platters and yes, alcohol. There are benefits of alcohol if taken in recommended/safe doses(lecture for another day, turn on post notifications so you don't miss it)
It was getting really boring having to hang out at the same spot every other day until i found this spot "Crest Lounge". Located in the heart of the beautiful city of Lokoja. Cool ambience, chilled booze, snooker spot, karaoke and spicy finger foods. I love eet!!! .
