Some may have seen my story over the weekend on a clay mask I used. It's a complete DIY mask, but I had several requests for some more information on it after it was gone from my story – so here are some claims on what it is!
I mixed my clay (bought from Amazon) with apple cider vinegar as it’s an acidic formula that apparently helps draw out toxins and keep on for 15/20mins, once every 2 weeks.
Please note this is not suitable for everyone
- For those with SENSITIVE SKIN, it can leave your skin feeling slightly burning / have a tingling sensation! I would advise testing a small patch first! - For those with DRY SKIN, I recommend adding another ingredient such as honey. Alternatively, make sure you use a heavy moisturiser right after.
I've been struggling recently with my pores and felt that they have been visibly larger, so I decided to give this mask a go. The first few times I used it, I realised that I was using a bit too much apple cider vinegar! •
So far the results have been great! I found that steaming my face BEFORE using it also helped a lot!
It's obviously a trial and error formula, and will take several uses to see any results.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, and for those that go ahead and try it, please let me know how it goes! Use the #spectrumbeautyskin and share with me!
